Telecommunication networks of OJSC "RPA of RRT and RBT" , a branch of OJSC "Kyrgyztelecom", are currently the only structure in the country that includes a complex of technical means ensuring distribution and broadcasting of television and radio programs and long-distance telephone communication in the Kyrgyz Republic.  Production activities of the association are carried out on a contractual basis with television and radio companies of the republic and foreign countries for the provision of services for the distribution of programs by technical means of "RPA of RRT and RBT".  

    OJSC "RPA of RRT and RBT" distributes state programs of KTR, ORT and RTR and programs of commercial TV and radio companies: "Piramida", "Europe Plus" and others. Consumers of services in the field of communication and distribution of TV and RTR programs are: National TV and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic; Regional TV and radio broadcasting companies; Commercial TV and radio companies in Bishkek, regional centers and other countries. There are 86 radio relay stations (RRS) of OJSC "RPO RMTR" operating on the territory of the Republic, of which more than 40 are high-mountain stations, Radio Transmission Center "Krasnaya Rechka", RTPS Bishkek.

    All high-mountainous RRSs of OJSC "RPA of RRT and RBT" are located at the dominant altitudes. There are technical and living quarters, antenna and mast structures at RRS, power lines are connected to all stations, all stations have reserve power bases (diesel units, batteries). The telecommunication network of OJSC "RPA of RRT and RBT" uses:

  • Multi-barrel radio relay systems in the ranges of 2-4-6-8 GHz for transmission of TV programs and multi-channel telephony;
  • Television stations with power from 0.1 to 5 kW;
  • Low-power automatic television repeaters (ATR) with the power from 1 to 75 W with on-air and satellite signal reception;
  • Broadcasting VHF-FM dual-program stations with a power of 4 kW FM transmitters from 0.5 to 2 kW;
  • Radio broadcasting transmitters of CB and KV bands with power from 5 to 150 kW.
